I saw this article on rugbyfanz.com and couldn't pass it up. I have never seen the movie Borat, but have had the unfortunate experience of seeing someone in the costume in person. It is not the most flattering outfit anyone has ever worn. This is hilarious that they are banning it at Wellington Sevens.

New Zealand police have banned fans from wearing Borat's skimpy one-piece bathing suit to the Wellington Sevens this year, The Daily Telegraph reports.

Police turned a blind eye to the dozens of fans who wore the "mankini" to the tournament last year, but say this year they will turn away anyone who turns up in the swimsuit made famous by British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen.

"It's a family event and there will be children there," a police spokesman said on Monday in an appeal to fans to show "a sense of decency."

The Wellington round of the IRB Sevens, which starts on Friday, customarily attracts thousands of fans who wear all kinds of fancy dress.
