This week's video comes from Brice Blanloeil and is a short film on the desire to win at any age. Brice's comments are below the video:

from Brice: I allow me to write you this mail because i think you'll may be interested by "Seigneurs", a two minutes length movie (with no speech) i co-directed with Antoine Lassort.

It's an amateur movie, cos we just did it with volunteers and a 200 euros budget, but we really made it with passion and with the help of Union-Bordeaux Bègles who provides us the Bègles stadium and the equipments.

Since the we finished the movie, we had two reviews in the municipal magazine "La Lettre de Bègles" and in the french magazine "Rugby Hedo". We also made the Myspace main page and been diffused on a big outdoor screen before France-England during the 2007 World Cup.

The movie present two rugby teams, composed of elderly people, fighting hard to win the game.

The main idea came from the fact that medias are less and less focusing on the third age people which however is a growing part of occidental population.

So we wanted to show that vitality isn’t a question of age and Rugby imposed itself to express this idea. Firstly, because it’s a sport famous for requiring strength and also for its federative aspect.

In order to pict that, we used (great elderly actors of course) steady cams shots and a very short cutted editing to look like Oliver Stone’s Any Given Sunday.
